CD8 (HIT8a) Antibody

Product  CD8 (HIT8a) Antibody
Cat#  100-26-16A
Unit/Weight  2 ml
Unit Price  $299.00
Species Reactivity  H
Tested Application(s)  FC
Brief Description  Mouse Monoclonal Antibody, FITC-conjugated Antibody
Specific Description  The CD8 (HIT8a) antibody recognizes a 68-kDa type-I transmembrane glycoprotein that consists of two disulfide-linked chains that form alpha homodimers or alpha/beta heterodimers. The most frequent CD8 antigen is CD8 alpha/beta heterodimer, which is expressed on 13-48 % peripheral blood suppressor/cytotoxic T lymphocytes (Ts/Tc) and 70-80% thymocytes. In addition, a proportion of γδT cells and NK cells express CD8α homodimers. CD8β requires the presence of CD8a to be expressed on the cell surface. CD8 antigen is co-receptor for HLA class-I molecules.
Storage  Store at 4°C. Product is guaranteed 6 months from the date of shipment.

CD79a Antibody

Product  CD79a Antibody
Cat#  100-26-17A
Unit/Weight  100 μg
Unit Price  $354.00
Species Reactivity  H
Tested Application(s)  IF
Brief Description  Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody, FITC-conjugated Antibody
Specific Description  The CD79a antigen (Immunoglobulin binding protein-1, IGBP-1) is an alpha/beta heterodimer cell membrane protein required in cooperation with CD79b for the initiation of the signal transduction cascade activated by binding of antigen to the B-cell antigen receptor complex (BCR). This cascade leads to BCR complex internalization, trafficking to late endosomes and antigen presentation. CD79a is also required for BCR surface expression and efficient differentiation of pro- and pre-B-cells. CD79a interacts with numerous kinases such as SYK, BLNK, Src-family tyrosine kinases. Defects in CD79a are a cause of non-Bruton type agammaglobulinemia, an immunodeficiency disease of the B-cell maturation pathway.
Storage  Store at 4°C. Product is guaranteed 6 months from the date of shipment.

CD71 (HI166) Antibody

Product  CD71 (HI166) Antibody
Cat#  100-26-18A
Unit/Weight  2 ml
Unit Price  $299.00
Species Reactivity  H
Tested Application(s)  FC
Brief Description  Mouse Monoclonal Antibody, FITC-conjugated Antibody
Specific Description  The CD71 (HI166) Antibody recognizes a 95-kDa disulfide-bonded homodimeric type-II transmembrane glycoprotein called transferring receptor (TfR). CD71 antigen is expressed typically at high level on all proliferating cell, activated cells and erythroblasts or reticulocytes that require iron, but not on resting peripheral blood leucocytes and mature erythrocytes. CD71 antigen is also expressed at high level on cells of most neoplastic cell lines and 29-32% of bone marrow cells. A soluble form of CD71 in serum (plasma) exists besides a membrane form. Monitoring the soluble form of CD71 antigen in plasma is a diagnostic marker of anemia besides assaying plasma ferritin. The CD71 (HI160) antibody inhibits CD71/Transferrin receptor activity.
Storage  Store at 4°C. Product is guaranteed 6 months from the date of shipment.

CD7 (HIT7) Antibody

Product  CD7 (HIT7) Antibody
Cat#  100-26-19A
Unit/Weight  2 ml
Unit Price  $299.00
Species Reactivity  H
Tested Application(s)  FC
Brief Description  Mouse Monoclonal Antibody, FITC-conjugated Antibody
Specific Description  The CD7 (HIT7) antibody recognizes a 40 kDa type-I single-chain transmembrane glycoprotein. CD7 antigen is considered as one of the earliest and immature T cell markers that is expressed on all thymocytes, most mature T cells, B-lineage progenitors, NK cells, monocytes (weakly) and some leukemia stem cells capable of multilineage differentiation. CD7 antigen may be considered as a marker of undifferentiated hemopoietic cells capable of giving rise to T, B and myeloid lineage cells under the appropriate microenvironment. CD7 is also present in the majority of T lymphoid leukemia cells and a subset of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) cells. Mature B lymphocytes and granulocytes do not express CD7 antigen.
Storage  Store at 4°C. Product is guaranteed 6 months from the date of shipment.

CD68 Antibody

Product  CD68 Antibody
Cat#  100-26-20A
Unit/Weight  100 μg
Unit Price  $354.00
Species Reactivity  M, R
Tested Application(s)  IF
Brief Description  Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody, FITC-conjugated Antibody
Specific Description  The CD68 antigen is involved in phagocytic activities of tissue macrophages, both in intracellular lysosomal metabolism and extracellular cell-cell and cell-pathogen interactions. CD68 binds to tissue- and organ-specific lectins and selectins, allowing homing of macrophage subsets to particular sites. Rapid recirculation of CD68 from endosomes and lysosomes to the plasma membrane helps macrophages to move over selectin-bearing substrates and other cells. CD68 is highly expressed by blood monocytes and tissue macrophages as well as many tumor cell lines promoting binding to selectins on vascular endothelium facilitating dissemination to secondary sites.
Storage  Store at 4°C. Product is guaranteed 6 months from the date of shipment.

Effect of membrane lipid packing on stable binding of the ALPS peptide

Effect of membrane lipid packing on stable binding of the ALPS peptide

KD Wildermuth, V Monje-Galvan… - Journal of chemical …, 2019 - ACS Publications
The amphipathic lipid packing sensor (ALPS) motif, originally discovered on the ArfGAP1
membrane-binding protein, binds to pre-existing large packing defects in a membrane
(spontaneous or due to membrane curvature), though a more precise relationship between …

Activation of glucagon‐like peptide‐1 receptors in the nucleus accumbens attenuates cocaine seeking in rats

Activation of glucagon‐like peptide‐1 receptors in the nucleus accumbens attenuates cocaine seeking in rats

NS Hernandez, B O'donovan, PI Ortinski… - Addiction …, 2019 - Wiley Online Library
Recent evidence indicates that activation of glucagon‐like peptide‐1 (GLP‐1) receptors
reduces cocaine‐mediated behaviors and cocaine‐evoked dopamine release in the
nucleus accumbens (NAc). However, no studies have examined the role of NAc GLP‐1 …
