CD44 (HI44a) Antibody
Product | CD44 (HI44a) Antibody |
Cat# | 100-26-32A |
Unit/Weight | 2 ml |
Unit Price | $299.00 |
Species Reactivity | H |
Tested Application(s) | FC |
Brief Description | Mouse Monoclonal Antibody, FITC-conjugated Antibody |
Specific Description | The CD44 (HI44a) antibody recognizes a highly glycosylated 80-90 kDa type-I transmembrane cell surface protein, which is the receptor for hyaluronic acid, also called phagocytic glycoprotein-1 (Pgp-1). CD44 antigen is widely expressed on most cell types including leukocytes, erythrocytes, endothelial cells and epithelial cells, but not on platelets. CD44 is involved in leukocyte attaching and rolling on endothelial cells, homing to peripheral lymphoid organs and sites of inflammation, and leukocyte aggregation |
Storage | Store at 4°C. Product is guaranteed 6 months from the date of shipment. |
CD42b (HIP1) Antibody
Product | CD42b (HIP1) Antibody |
Cat# | 100-26-33A |
Unit/Weight | 2 ml |
Unit Price | $299.00 |
Species Reactivity | H |
Tested Application(s) | FC |
Brief Description | Mouse Monoclonal Antibody, FITC-conjugated Antibody |
Specific Description | The CD42b (HIP1) antibody recognizes a heterodimer glycoprotein (GPIbα) that contains an α chain (CD42b, 145 kDa) and a β chain (CD42c, 22 kDa) linked by a disulfide bond forming a noncovalent complex with CD42a (GPIX) and d. CD42b antigen is expressed on platelets and megakaryocytes. The GPIb/IX complex (CD42a-d) serves as a receptor for von Willebrand Factor (vWF) and thrombin, and mediates adhesion of platelets to subendothelium of damaged vascular walls. The absence of the CD42 complex leads to the Bernard-Soulier Syndrome (BSS). The CD42b (HIP1) antibody inhibits the ristocetin-dependent binding of vWF to platelets, ristocetin-induced platelet agglutination, and partially inhibits collagen-induced aggregation. |
Storage | Store at 4°C. Product is guaranteed 6 months from the date of shipment. |
CD41 (HIP8) Antibody
Product | CD41 (HIP8) Antibody |
Cat# | 100-26-34A |
Unit/Weight | 2 ml |
Unit Price | $299.00 |
Species Reactivity | H |
Tested Application(s) | FC |
Brief Description | Mouse Monoclonal Antibody, FITC-conjugated Antibody |
Specific Description | The CD41 (HIP8) antibody recognizes a 140-kDa glycoprotein which is the α subunit of the CD41/CD61 (GPIIb/IIIa, αIIbβ3) complex called glycoprotein IIb (GPIIb). GPIIb is a calcium-dependent, no covalently associated heterodimer and contains a heavy chain (GPIIbα) and a light chain (GPIIbβ) linked by a single disulfide bond. The CD41 antigen is strictly expressed on platelets and platelet precursors (megakaryocytes). The CD41/CD61 complex is the receptor for fibrinogen, fibronectin and von Willebrand factor, and plays a central role in platelet activation and aggregation. The GPIIb/IIIa may be absent or strongly reduced in Glanzmann’s thrombasthenia (GT). The CD41 (HIP8) antibody inhibits platelet aggregation and ATP secretion induced by ADP, thrombin and collagen. The CD41 (HIP11) antibody reacts with α and β subunits of GPIIb/IIIa (CD41/CD61) complex. |
Storage | Store at 4°C. Product is guaranteed 6 months from the date of shipment. |
CD40 (HI40a) Antibody
Product | CD40 (HI40a) Antibody |
Cat# | 100-26-35A |
Unit/Weight | 2 ml |
Unit Price | $299.00 |
Species Reactivity | H |
Tested Application(s) | FC |
Brief Description | Mouse Monoclonal Antibody, FITC-conjugated Antibody |
Specific Description | The CD40 (HI40a) antibody recognizes a 48-kDa type-I single chain transmembrane glycoprotein expressed on normal and neoplastic B cells, but not on terminally differentiated plasma cells. CD40 antigen is also present on Hodgkin and Reed-Sternberg cells, follicular dendritic cells, some macrophages, basal epithelial cells and endothelial cells. The ligand for CD40 is CD154 (CD40L). CD40 is involved in growth, differentiation, isotype-switching on B cells and rescuing B cells from apoptosis. |
Storage | Store at 4°C. Product is guaranteed 6 months from the date of shipment. |
CD4 Antibody
Product | CD4 Antibody |
Cat# | 100-26-36A |
Unit/Weight | 100 μg |
Unit Price | $354.00 |
Species Reactivity | H, R, M, Mk, Sh, P, D |
Tested Application(s) | IF |
Brief Description | Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody, FITC-conjugated Antibody |
Specific Description | CD4 antigen is found on a T-cell subset (helper/inducer) representing 45% of peripheral blood lymphocytes. CD4 is also present on 80% of thymocytes and at a lower level on monocytes. CD4 is involved in recognition of antigen presented along with MHC class II by APCs. CD4 is the primary cellular receptor for the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). |
